Draft for legal review

Cookie Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 22 October 2026

This policy explains how SLV Tools (the "Service"), operated by FG Event Tech [legal entity name to be confirmed], uses cookies and similar technologies. The short version: we use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run third-party analytics at launch.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the website remember things between page loads, such as the fact that you have signed in. Similar technologies include browser storage (local storage and session storage).

2. Cookies we use

We use only strictly necessary cookies. These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.

PurposeSet byTypeDuration
Authentication session: keeps you signed in and lets the Service know which account and organisation you are working in.Our authentication provider (Supabase) through the ServiceFirst-party, strictly necessaryFor the length of your session; refreshed while you remain signed in and removed when you sign out or the session expires.
Security: protects sign-in and form submissions against forgery and abuse. The Service and its hosting provider (Vercel)First-party, strictly necessarySession

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies on Google's domains during the sign-in process. Those cookies are governed by Google's policies, not by this one.

3. Cookies we do not use

  • Advertising or tracking cookies: none. We do not show ads and do not track you across other websites.
  • Third-party analytics cookies: none at launch. If we add an analytics tool in future, we will update this policy first and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
  • Social media cookies: none.

4. Why we do not show a cookie banner

Because the Service only sets strictly necessary cookies, most privacy laws do not require us to ask for consent before setting them. We will introduce a consent mechanism if we ever add cookies that need one.

5. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. If you block the authentication cookie you will not be able to sign in to the Service. Browser help pages explain how to manage cookies for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. The version number and effective date at the top of this page tell you which version applies. Material changes will be announced in the product.

7. More information

How we handle personal data generally is described in our Privacy Notice. Questions about cookies can be sent to [privacy contact email to be confirmed].
