Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 22 October 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and FG Event Tech [legal entity name to be confirmed] ("FG Event Tech", "we", "us") and govern your use of SLV Tools, the web application available at https://slv.fgeventtech.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation, and "you" includes that organisation.
1. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country if that is higher.
- The Service is intended for business use by event-production companies and their crews.
- You must not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law.
2. Public beta
The Service is currently offered as a free public beta. This means:
- features may change, be added or be removed without notice;
- the Service may contain bugs and may be unavailable from time to time;
- we may reset, migrate or limit data where necessary to develop the Service, and will try to give notice first;
- paid plans may be introduced later. We will give you reasonable notice before any feature you use becomes chargeable, and you will never be charged without agreeing to a plan first.
3. Your account
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and sign-in details confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at [support email to be confirmed] if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- One person may not share a single account; each user should have their own login.
4. Organisations and members
- An organisation is created and administered by its owner(s). Owners control who is invited, what roles members have and what the organisation's data is used for.
- Data entered into an organisation workspace (equipment lists, vehicle profiles, plans, contacts) belongs to that organisation, not to the individual member who typed it in.
- When a member leaves or is removed, the organisation keeps its project records. The member's personal account data is handled as described in our Privacy Notice.
- If you are the only owner of an organisation, you must transfer ownership or close the organisation before deleting your account.
5. Planning aids are not professional advice
The Service provides planning aids such as truck load plans, weight estimates, packing suggestions and equipment summaries. These are tools to help you organise your work. They are not certified safety, engineering, transport-compliance or legal advice.
- You remain fully responsible for verifying actual weights, dimensions, load distribution, securing of cargo, axle limits, vehicle ratings and all applicable road, transport and safety laws.
- Figures in the Service depend on the data you enter. If your equipment weights or vehicle profiles are wrong, the plan will be wrong.
- Always have a qualified person check a load before a vehicle is driven on public roads.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to store content you do not have the right to store;
- upload malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, organisation or system, or interfere with the operation of the Service;
- scrape, copy, reverse-engineer or resell the Service or its software, except as permitted by law;
- use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages;
- enter sensitive personal data (for example health, religious or biometric data) about yourself or others;
- impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your relationship with one.
We may suspend or remove content or accounts that breach this section.
7. Your content and intellectual property
- You keep your data. You (or your organisation) own the content you enter or upload, including logos, equipment lists, plans and photos.
- You grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, display and transmit that content only as needed to provide the Service to you and your organisation, including to people you share plans with.
- You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload the content and to share it in the way you do.
- We keep the software. The Service, its software, design, trademarks and documentation remain the property of FG Event Tech and its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.
- If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage and email, and offers sign-in with Google as an option. Your use of Google sign-in is also subject to Google's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these Terms. Our Cookie Policy and Data Deletion Policy also apply.
10. Service provided "as is"
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that it will meet your requirements.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service;
- we are not liable for damage to equipment, vehicles, property or persons, or for fines or penalties, resulting from reliance on plans, weights or other outputs of the Service (see section 5);
- our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service in any 12-month period will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in that period or, if you paid nothing, MYR 100 (or the equivalent in your local currency).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify FG Event Tech against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Service in breach of applicable law, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time from Account Settings. See our Data Deletion Policy.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service becomes impractical. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export your data.
- We may discontinue the beta or the Service with reasonable notice.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 5, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 15) will continue to apply.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service develops. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or in the product before the change takes effect and, where required, ask you to accept the updated Terms. The version number and effective date at the top of this page tell you which version applies. If you do not agree to a change, you should stop using the Service and may delete your account.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service, except that you may have additional rights under the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, and nothing in this section takes those away.
Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at [support email to be confirmed] so that we can try to resolve the issue informally.
16. General
- These Terms, together with the policies they refer to, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
- If we do not enforce a right under these Terms, that is not a waiver of that right.
- You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a successor of our business with notice to you.
